- Currently employed full-time as 'Youth Volunteer Development Manager/Project Co-ordinator' for Leicestershire & Rutland, as part of the 'vinvolved' national youth volunteering programme, promoting and developing volunteering opportunities with and for 16-25 year olds; providing information, training & support about involving young volunteers and to help volunteering organisations/groups develop capacity to do so. 
- Previously employed as a 'Volunteering Development Officer' by 'Voluntary Action Leicester' with 'Leicester Volunteer Bureau'.
- Extensive responsibility over 18 years for the creation, development, management, promotion, and administration of the volunteering programme for 'Leicestershire AIDS Support Services' (LASS), the recruitment, training and involvement in support of over 450 volunteers, including managing the achieving of the national  'Investing in Volunteers' accreditation; as well as being practice teacher & supervisor for many student placements from Youth & Community and Social Work University courses.
