OWLS Athletics ClubTRAINING SESSION UPDATES: The usual WEDNESDAY evening Junior Section session (6.50pm-8.00pm) are taking place at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium Track until further notice or as highlighted here below. After over 5 years, I'm not currently coaching with the Owls AC on Wednesday nights, with Wayne Walker currently taking sessions, usually meeting mostly on the far side of track, on back-straight, furthest side from stands. Currently, Junior Training Fees are £2.00 per session (but a cheaper season ticket is available for regular users, such as £20 for 12 weeks). You will continue to pay the fees to the Coaches on the night, so if anyone asks just say that you are with the "Owls A.C". Wednesday evenings: It would be helpful if you could aim to arrive for Wednesday evening sessions by 6.50pm as we will aim to start at 7pm and finish 8pm. Important: If dropping off young people, please will you always check that coaches are present and that the session is definitely going ahead before dropping off and leaving, although staying is encouraged. At the end, please make sure you arrive for 8pm to collect young people.
It is advised that you always make sure your athletes are well enough to take part and wearing appropriate clothing for weather conditions, especially footwear, and not wearing jewellery, chewing gum, etc, and have appropriate drinks (ideally water) in suitable bottles, and any medication, inhalers, etc, with them that they may need.
