YOUTH GAMES 2007 -  JUNE 2007

Harborough District - Year 5/6 - Athletics Team.

Three sessions were initially held at Harborough Leisure Centre led by Team Manager/Coach Gordon Warren (for any Year 5/6 girl or boy who lives or goes to school in the District of Harborough) to select the Year 5/6 Athletics Team (6 boys/6 girls) to represent the District of Harborough, Leicestershire, at the Leicester-Shire & Rutland Youth Games 2007 to be held at Loughborough University on Saturday 24th June 2007, with a total of 37 young people attending.

Following team selection, a further two training/coaching sessions for the team were held before the Youth Games itself.

At the Event, the team came 2nd overall had a number of good victories and strong and committed performances.
